In May of 1995, North Point Group, Inc. was formed as a new holding company with William H. Skeeles as the principle shareholder. Its purpose and intent is to provide the resources necessary to acquire and support a variety of financial service businesses. Shortly after its inception, North Point Group purchased The Rohrabaugh Company insurance agency. In 2001, two additional acquisitions were made with the purchase of Northwest Insurance Agency and Dean & Tanner Insurance. Madden & Madden Insurance joined the North Point Group in 2002 and in 2007 North Point Group purchased Peach City Partners, dba TRC Insurance Services of Peachtree City.
