On Tuesday, August 26, The Buckhead Community Bank and TRIO Media Group will host a luncheon for Atlanta’s top women executives at South City Kitchen in Vinings. Guests will enjoy a delicious menu of contemporary Southern food in this modern and sophisticated atmosphere. Lunch will include an appetizer of fried green tomatoes, a choice of barbecue pork sandwich, fresh egg noodles or chicken Caesar salad and a dessert of banana pudding.
The panel will feature Sarah Robbins, Ph.D., a Professor of English at Kennesaw State University, and the discussion will be facilitated by Donna L. Kain of the Buckhead Community Bank and Denise Elsbree of TRIO Media Group.
Robbins will discuss gender and women’s stereotypes in today’s business culture. The presentation will ultimately help guests to:
Emphasize the need for a global perspective on gender-related topics and issues
- Promote social awareness on women’s stereotypes that are present in society today
- Promote outreach and partnerships between women in the workplace.
The luncheon is from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Cost is $30 and includes the meal and the speakers.
